Tons of good undead here in this thread. I like undead and feel they can’t be over-used. Perhaps a zombpocalypse is due to hit your world? Your players need the undead. There’s no qualms in ganking the undead in vast quantities, no moral compass that needs to get bent out of shape to dissecting a mob of ghouls or vampires or whatever.
The undead are just good targets and like any good targets, variety is always good to avoid stagnation.
