I’ve added a scalled down picture of a player map here as an example of what they’ll be seeing and what you’ll be printing if you go that route. The battlemat maps will be optional PDF’s as you can certainly just draw them out using your markers on whatever you’re using as a battlemat now. One thing that works really well is just the big honkin’ disposable 1″ grid sheets you can get at Staples, Office Depot, Office Supply Store Of Some Kind. You can get about 100 sheets for about 30-50 cents a sheet. Not a horrible price really given how many of them you’ll likely need in what time span.

Well I’ve finished all the maps I want to include for the module. I just need to embed the DM maps into the module pdf and then pdf the Player maps for printing. The Player maps are full scale and can be printed out for use as a battle map. The DM maps actually include information that a Player really shouldn’t have.

What program did you use to make them? They’re simple yet decent and clean-looking, why I’m interested.

I used Photoshop (7.0 to be exact). By turning on the Grid such that it has main lines every inch and sub lines every 1/2 inch it makes it trivial to make lines by holding down Shift and clicking the end points.
