And voila the dvd, she works again! The trick to this is that the scratches obviously can’t be too deep or they’ve probably scratched the actual data later or at least mussed it up and you have to use a toothpaste that has diatomaceous earth or something similiar.
But then I got tied up playing Stalker for my boys who like to watch me shoot people and didn’t do much more than get the Oblivion installed along with the toolset and then get it all patched up. Then after they went to bed I played a Squig Herder in Warhammer Online, I’m trying to determine what class I want to duo with my wife who wants to find more things for us to do together. In the past the problem with MMOG has always been, I have too many interests so I don’t spend as much time on the treadmill as others do and invariably end up soloing which is boring in a MMOG, the content is typically horrible in terms of interesting from a RPG standpoint and it’s there merely as a time sink to keep you leveling. Unlike a good CRPG where there’s actual story and all that. All of which pales before a face to face PnP event.
Anyway, there ya go, a recap of my evening.
In other news based on feedback of my module I’m making some changes to it to get rid of some of the ‘sameness’ to a couple of encounters and I’m not sure if I want to add in a crazy man to it or not. Â Not because it might be an interesting idea but after due consideration it doesn’t fit the flow as well as I’d like.
