Totte on Enworld has released a free adventure for 4th edition. It clocks in at 50 megs zipped and includes maps and such all in one easy to use pdf document.
The adventure is designed for level 1′s and is intended as your player’s first adventure. It includes at first glance considerable information for running the module and includes full scale maps near the end that you can print out and where necessary tape together to get battlemats. It has obvious ‘read aloud’ text, stat blocks are included where necessary for each combat encounter, as well as preferred tactics by the bad guys.
It appears to be primarily a dungeon crawl although it doesn’t take place specifically in a dungeon but is rather a linked series of encounters that appear to make thematic sense.
There are various skill checks that can garner the players more or less information but no skill challenges that I could see.
