In looking around at the site I realized it had been awhile since I’d upgraded the base site code which is Word Press. I’ve now taken care of that and migrated from 2.1.3 to 2.5.x. On the back end a few things are different and I’m not sure if it’s an improvement but it’s not a dis-provement so I can adjust to change.
In addition I’ve had to update my existing plug ins and as a result of finding new versions I’ve added some others that I came across so there are some new things there.
The site shouldn’t have been down for more than about 10 minutes, the time it took to dump the files up and overwrite the existing ones and do a database upgrade. FTP from a network location in Vista is dog ass slow. Which is a strange phrase really but my aunt says it a lot, she’s around 87 now I think and if I live to be 67 with half the ability she has still I’ll be happy.
Anyway sorry for the brief outage to anyone that was visiting trying to get some the PDF’s I’ve posted recently. If you use them for play testing I’d love to hear about them as I haven’t had a chance to play test either the Half Orc race or the Bard class.
